vr6 rear brake discs

i bought a set of rear brake discs for my vr6 golf mk3

but now i read i need the bearing kit also,is it possible to use the old bearing from the old brakes or should i get new ones

or do the brakes come with bearings,i havent opened the packets yet and left them at work

I am pretty sure bearings are not included.
And yes you can use old ones, but i recommend to buy new bearings.
because prices start from 10€/side. so better change those bearings same time.

You can use the old bearing ring as an assembly tool. Cut it open so it can shrink slightly smaller in diameter than the new ring and you can use it to gently tap or press the new ring in place safely. You need a drift sized roughly about 5...8 Ø mm to punch the old bearing ring out of the old brake disc.

This should be OEM quality bearing.
