vr6 exhaust fumes

ok when driving i dont get a smell of exhaust fumes

but either at the stop lights or when my cars stopped but engine running i get a strong smell of exhaust in the car

what could it be

Broken exhaust manifold?

im thinking it could be the manifold,or maybe the downpipe cconnecting the monifold to the pipe

i will check it out tomorrow i get it on the ramps

found out what it was in the end

it was the crackshaft breather pipe that had split

its the oil breather pipe thing ,the breather filter came off and it was quite near the fan motor for the inside air blower
