ive got half a bumper at the moment,scrapping on the floor and its a real mess,so i just need any bumper,do you think it will fit my vr6

It's cheap because it's not OEM, but rather a third party manufactured bumper.

There should be no real difference between the stock and GTI/VR6 bumpers, aside from the front lip that is a separate piece of plastic under the bumper (VR6 has a hole in it):

... is selling the (probably same) bumber and claims it fits all Golf III models. But as you can see from the picture, it's missing the thin lip under the actual bumper which you might have to track down separately if your bumper is completely shattered. :D

You can get the front lip pieces from motonet also. 20€ a piece. Oem full lip (left and right) costs 120€ from slamit.net.

Edit: Or what lips are you talking about? The "front spoiler"?, well anyways i was talking about it :D
